A Blog Taught Me More Than Any Course Could
I started my SEO journey the way most people do, by just trying to grow a blog.
I built one of my first content websites from scratch and focused entirely on organic search. Within 6 months, it was pulling in thousands of visitors every month through SEO alone. I then monetized it and eventually sold it on Flippa for thousands of dollars.
What happened after the sale is what I’m most proud of. The new owner kept me on for over 15 months as an SEO Strategist, and eventually trusted me to lead the entire team — content writers, graphic designers, and outreach specialists. I was setting the strategy and making sure everyone had a clear roadmap to follow.
That one project taught me more about SEO than any course ever could.
